For the first time, the iPhone 5 News Blog will have a correspondent at this year’s WWDC to cover all the action. The event will be covered here on the iPhone 5 News Blog by veteran technology guru Sam Levin, host of AppMinute and longtime crony.

The iPhone 5 News Blog is excited to announce that we will be liveblogging the 2012 WWDC! Longtime tech ally Sam Levin, host of AppMinute and all-around tech insider, will be at the event and will be covering it here, as it happens, on his iPad 3 and mifi 4 card.

I’ve known Sam for years: he is deeply connected all around the tech sphere. He knows folks at Apple, all of the major and minor consumer electronics accessories companies, and a host of other entities that would blow your mind. He is the ultimate insider — the guy you want covering the WWDC.

His bio reads as follows:

See you on the other side of the WWDC everyone! Let’s hope we get what we dream of.

  7. James Says:

Sounds like the best live blog for the best website!

  8. Undfeatable Says:

How is is going to be set up? Like in the comments or something? In that case, don’t allow comments. But if you somehow managed to make the website truly support a live blog, I’m so exited! I can’t believe you are actually supporting a live blog from WWDC! This site is really stepping with the big boys now!

  9. Michael Nace Says:

Hey Undfeatable: The live blog will take place on this post: http://iphone5newsblog.com/2012/06/10/sam-levin-of-appminute-liveblogs-wwdc-2012/ and Sam will actually update the blog post in real time, using a plug-in that will update the page in real time — kind of like how Twitter works. So, the updates won’t be in the comments sections, but I have turned off comments for that post, since Core2 recommended it for keeping the site from crashing. Hopefully all will go smoothly from the technical end. If we get a DRUDGESTRIKE, it could get crazy!

  10. Undfeatable Says:

I was actually going to tell you to disable commenting also. I hate when sites crash. Will the plug in work for iPhones?

  11. David Newton Says:

Awesome! In your post though you said Monday the 10th. Scared me there..

  12. Vernicularis Says:

My trusty bottle of bubbly is ready, now a vintage after WWDC 2011 and the refresh of the IP4 in October.

Fingers crossed, here’s hoping and two hours to go I already have the live feed blog up and running!

Good morning to all in the US from the UK and of course to all readers and commenters on this blog site, I hope we all get what we want.

Thanks to Michael, Charles for all the good work and welcome to Sam for his live blog.

    Over to you Apple….

Together with almost everything which appears to be developing within this particular area, many of your perspectives happen to be quite radical. In any case I did take pleasure in examining it.
